prev / next topic?

Speaks for its self really me thinks, how about having a link at the top and bottom of each topic that will take you to the previous and next topic based on which one your on atm?

Good idea, but that should be expanded. For example,

echo "&LT; a href='$prev'>Previous Topic: $prevName &LT; /a >";

Also don't make it part of the drop down, give it its own links.

It would be a little more complicated than that. It would have to be based on what you were viewing: if you are viewing latest topics, most viewed topics, etc. then next and previous would be different than if you were viewing one of the categories.

When viewing the boards I usually hit shift+enter on a topic when I want to read it then alt+f4 when I'm finished. That way, previous is available with a shift+tab and next is available with a tap of the tab key.
